How Much Does Real Estate Photography Cost?

If you ask the average person to figure out how much does real estate photography price, most of them will look at you blankly. They've no idea what you're talking about. They have no idea what aerial photos are or the price of a camera on top of the bill for an assistant to do all of your needs for the photographs. The only individuals who know these things are individuals who work in this industry and they know all of the hidden secrets to saving money on their photography packages.

So, if you can't figure it out, don't get frustrated. I have done this before and many times when asked the question how much does real estate photography cost, I could barely contain my anger. I was working with a business that wanted to take aerial pictures of a new development that they were announcing. They needed the images in a hurry because they were going to be featured in the news soon enough. The photographer they had hired was a terrific person but she wasn't experienced in taking aerial photographs.

Hiring Photography Equipment

They didn't want to hire someone like me to shoot the images because it would have taken them weeks to complete the project. Rather, they made the decision to hire an extremely well-equipped high-end digital camera which was very costly. I don't know why they decided to proceed with a camera that pricey for an entry level job. They could have hired a normal camera for the job, which would have saved them a ton of money. They hired a high-end photographer who will be paying that high-end cost for years to come since they figured they would save money with a camera that was not capable of producing high-end images.

Now, I can understand wanting to reduce costs. There are loads of things which you can do if you would like to cut corners. If you are a photographer, you might decide to quit your job and become an aerial photographer. If you do not mind working in a cubicle for years at a time, you can surely afford to hire a professional photographer and not worry about what is happening around you.

While most people can afford to hire a professional photographer, not everyone can afford to pay the price that some of the top models in the world pay. Not only do you need to pay the photographer, but you are going to have to pay the model as well. Just how much is your budget? If it is going to cost you hundreds to thousands of dollars to take pictures then I'm telling you that you probably can not afford to become a photographer.

Additional Costs for Real Estate Photography

You may think that hiring a fantastic camera and high-end photographer will cost you a lot of money. In reality, it is going to cost you much less than you are probably thinking. All you have to do is ask around. Everybody has pictures of themselves with a high-end photographer or somebody who's better than them.
